Anthony is the 97th person to have achieved the Triple Crown of marathon swimming – the English Channel, around Manhattan, and the Catalina Channel. He has done marathon swims around the world and earned a Guinness World Record for a 36k marathon swim he did in Brazil.
Anthony has been a Senior Vice President at a U.S. based Global 50 company and the CEO of a start-up company that sold to a Japanese Global 100 firm. He started his business career as a computer programmer, then moved through a variety of service and sales roles before becoming an executive. He is currently a business coach – helping executives and companies reach their full potential.
Even though he admittedly only possesses a fraction of Nick’s sports knowledge, Anthony also loves talking sports – mostly because he believes sports provide incredibly valuable life lessons. Based on his experiences as a marathon swimmer, Anthony does keynote presentations that teach how to achieve your dreams.

Nick has dedicated his entire life to sports. His true love is basketball, but his abilities led him to lacrosse. Nick is a former Division 1 athlete – he played goalie for UVa’s 1988-1992 lacrosse teams. After a few years of working in the business world - and coaching basketball and lacrosse on the side - he recognized his true passion and decided to pursue a career in sports. He earned a master’s degree in athletic administration in 1996.
Nick started his professional sports career with the Philadelphia Eagles where, among other duties in the player personnel department, he negotiated player contracts under the guidance of Joe Banner. In 1998 he joined Drexel University’s athletic department. Through the years, he has hired and guided coaches in all of Drexel’s varsity sports. He worked his way up through the organization and is currently Drexel Athletics’ COO.
Nick loves teaching, supporting, and helping athletes and coaches. He is fascinated by coaching. And he loves talking sports!
